dandandandandan: Well, there are a number of "South Asia Relief Fund"s. Someone is putting together a mutual fund (not tax deductable - it's a fund!). There's the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg South Asia Relief Fund. There's the Episcopal Relief and Development South Asia Relief Fund. There's the SAWSO (Salvation Army World Service Office) South Asia Relief Fund. I could go on and on.
Basically, if it's a 501c3 and you contributed in 2005, it's tax-deductable. If it's not, it's not.
