Slugg: Generally speaking there are two types of interviews: technical and behavioral. On a behavioral interview, the interviewer is trying to get a feel of your personality to see if it fits the company's culture. Usually the more senior person will be conducting this interview. Usual questions would be "how do you handle stressful situations?" "what kind of work environment do you enjoy working at?" etc. On a technical interview, the interviewer is trying to see if you are technically capable of handling the job. This is usually done by a direct report. The type of questions vary depending on the seniority of the position. The higher the position, the less technical it gets. Starting position might be asked to do journal entries.
