StonerChick:  You can have your direct deposit set up for any account, just give them the account #, but your bank must coinside with your work, or they usually won't let you get d.d.

You can have a Visa and Bill Pay. There are some fees associated, but if you make the one time fee payment of about $60 to $70, that would eliminate a lot of individual fees. You can go to http://www.netspend.com and check them out further. If I can be of further assistance, let me know. pktull@yahoo.com http://www.geocities.com/pktull

mss04:  You can deposit into the savins account and you can pay some bills out of it, but savings accounts have a limited amount of transactions per month or quarter you can do so find out the limit . I believe they will not charge if after your check hits you get money orders for your bills.

GirlinNB:  It depends on your banking institute. But I know myself, when I started working where I currently am, I had to open a chequing account for my pay because my bank doesn't do direct deposit into savings accounts. And majority does not allow this. Also, your credit system has no say in whether or not you can open a chequing account. My credit sucks and I have not one but 2 different chequing accounts for different bills that come out of them. I don't have cheques mind you, but a bank card instead.

Dan S:  You can have direct deposit go into your savings account. The bank only wants the money; they don't really care how it gets into your account, as long as it is legal. I doubt if your bank is going to allow you to set up direct bill pay from the savings account though. That has to be done through a checking account. If you were so crooked that you cannot get a checking account then I don't think the bank will want to help you in that area. If your credit rating is very poor you can still get a checking account. If you use a debit card then you can only access the money that is in your account. If you spend more than you have then the bank will quickly charge you for that. I would try to find a bank that will allow you to get a checking account. No matter how bad your credit rating is you should be able to at least get a checking account. After my bankruptcy I was still able to have a checking account. I had to move to another bank because the one that I defaulted on didn?t want my business anymore, but it was no trouble getting a new checking account. If you have direct deposit into that checking account then most banks will give you a free account. If you can't get one because you were crooked in some way, well I can't help you there. Only time will help that.

Boomish:  You can direct deposit into any account you wish. Most companies offer split direct deposit if you would like to put some in one account and the rest in another.

mybestemail69:  It should not be a problem as long as you give them the acct number as well as the routing number.
