Any help would be appreciated. Is it possible to get a refund anticipation loan for the tax stimulus checks?
Just curious if it is possible to get a refund anticipation loan on the tax stimulus checks coming to us. Does anyone know if this is an option?

chatsplas@sbcglobal.net:  NOPE. And the RALs are a huge cost to you and not a good idea anyway. US military aren't permitted to get them as the interest rates are so extortionate.

r_kav:  The scumbags that do RAL's are trying to find a way to do this, and the IRS says they can't stop them, under current law. As others have advised, it would be incredibly dumb for you to do this, if it becomes available, but if you insist, check with H & R or JH. They will jump on it, if they can.
