NYS Dept of Tax said I did not file corporate tax return?
The notice I received from NYS said tax payer ID is TF-( and 7 digits). Does this mean the corporation has to apply for EIN# with IRS and then file forms retroactively.?

Doctor Deth:  you formed a corporation, but never got a federal ID number? how were you able to open up a business checking acct without that? or file payroll tax returns? - did you apply for any of the many tax accounts and licenses you would need?
