Okay my friend was looking over her tax form at work... She noticed that she must have hit the Exempt button on the site for her tax when she was setting it up at work.. Well she said it had to have been on for about 7 months.... She now unclicked the Expemt button... What will this do to her taxes??????? Thanks in advance

Judy: Andrea, where are you really? This question is posted under India, and some previous ones have been posted under UK and US. From the context of your questions, sounds like US. If she doesn't make enough to owe any tax for the year, it won't matter. But if she does, she is going to come up very short when she does her tax return unless she makes a hefty estimated payment by January 15. She'll have to pay rather than getting a refund, and might also have to pay penalties for underwithholding - this will depend on how much she owes.
