i am back with questions about 1099.?
First sorry for my english. I am back with my problem about the guy who owes me money. Last year i did another small job for him. the labor was 3000.i got paid 1500 only in cash. I am now in a dirty war whit him over the money(.by the phone.)He didnt want to give me money back.saing he nas no $$. I complained on him and his business online. He was very angry.He wants to send me 1099 for 1500.I have small business and pay tax on my own.he wants my adress and tax ID for 1099.I am scared of him. I can not trust this person.He is a dengeros person..I am not the only one victim.(to bed i know this only now.)I dont want to give him my information, because i dont know what is in his head.I am ignoring his phone calls.He leaves me dirty messeges. But i do want to pay tax .What i should do? If some one knows a good lawer, please help. Thankyou.

bostonianinmo:  You have to give him your tax information. It's the law. You can be penalized by the IRS for not doing so. (It's very possible that this is one of the reasons that he's in such a mood as he is way late on the 1099 filings.) Print out this form: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf and fill it out and mail it to him.
