I don't need them to do my taxes. I just have questions. Who do I ask? Do I pay them money?
Calling the IRS is a good idea. Talking with an accountant is good too, but wouldn't it be werid to go all the way down to H&R block to ask a couple questions and then pay them? I wish it was like over the phone and we can be charged by the min or something

tro: you can get a publication 17 from www.irs.gov which will give you about any occasions you might encounter with taxes for personal, the business one is publication 34 and available for free you certainly can ask here, there are several professionals here that are willing to answer(or they wouldn't be here)

Shotgun: Call the IRS. Unless you intend to cheat. They have staff available to answer just about anything. Probably much more reliable than any other (especially such as this) inexpensive or free source.
Second option is to pay an accountant. They don't work for free - after all, this is what they do for a living.
