Small Business Accounting Programs?

Small Business Accounting Programs?
Hi! I'm just starting up a small furniture business (in Australia) and I need an accounting package that handles accounts, recording sales, payroll, invoices, inventory and has GST capability. I've already done some reasearch and found some decent programs but I was wondering what the community thinks are the better ones? Or Alternatively, their favorite? My business partners have specified they would rather not use Excel or MYOB.

MannyHosea:  That's a big job for a programmer if you would prefer the above mentioned packages to be in just one software. Try hiring programmer(s) to customize the software for you, I suggest. Predesigned software have limitations and are not customizable according to your own operating procedures. If you are just starting business you can try MS Access as your transactional database and for complex analytical reporting you can export data via query to ms excel for further processing. MS Access is a secure database just like any other software. Use the power of Microsoft. It is designed for small business like yours.

Smilin'_Bob_The_Enzyte?_Guy:  Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions 11.0 any other professional version of Quickbooks. I use the Enterprise version, and it has a sock-full of sub programs that when you choose what kind of business you are, it gives you a pre-loaded chart of accounts, so that it is about the closest thing I have ever seen to plug-and-play in an accounting software package. It aint cheap ( about 1100$ US), but WOW is it worth it...
