What is the best small business accounting and bookkeeping solution?
This is for a small business doing simple online retail sales that will probably never need to hire more than a couple of employees. Obviously QuickBooks is the goliath out there, but I suspect there may be more elegant solutions (especially ones with iOS integration).
What do you recommend? Are there drawbacks to not using QuickBooks (like accountants not being friendly with your data)?

Plays with Squirrels: Quick Books is a great option for tracking financial activity. The overwhelming critical factor is to habitually enter information to keep the system updated. Otherwise, it's worthless - as any system would be. The report info that QuickBooks produces is awesome and it's easy to use. Also, there are many books on "how-to" for Quickbooks. Any Barnes & Noble or Borders would have several good choices.
