Westward Wind:  Entitlement programs that benefit illegal immigrants are at the top of Mr. Obama's agenda - and that sucks the economy dry. That in turn, increases our debt and causes us to break the debt ceiling. That in turn, messes with the interest rates. That, in turn effects the cost of everything from home loans to the price of groceries, etc... So yes - there will be many that will lose their homes due to entitlement programs under the Obama administration.

George S:  Your homes, and eventually everything you have, will be sucked away by the desperate hordes of excess labor from grossly overpopulating cultures like ones in China and India. LIke the last big depression a century ago, those hordes of excess labor undercut wages and draw away jobs and industries. We buy ever more from desperate, hungry people in Asia, starving from their numbers overwhelming their resources, and pay them with paper IOUs instead of gold and silver like we once did. Now they have a claim on our resources and property. China has a $3 trillion claim and I don't know how much India and others have. I suspect half the $14 trillion in IOUs just through government spending on our treasury "credit card" (citizens must eventually cover) is in foreign hands. When foreign nations and people draw away the resources they need by cashing in those IOUs, we lose those and become poorer because that is our wealth. Paper currency, "T-bills," and any other tokens (except "deeds" like stock shares that represent ownership of something specific) was never realized wealth.

ranger_co_1_75:  No, we will loose our homes because corporations own politicians through campaign contributions and are having laws passed that favor the companies and harm the working people. Even giving tax breaks to companies that move their factories to Communist China. When we get organized and demand laws that protect the American Worker, we will recover our standard of living. Until then we deserve what we are getting for allowing the people who orchestrated this debacle to stay in office.
