jwthoughts:  Nice try. It is the DEMS who are trying to get rid of tax loopholes....such as the mortgage interest deduction...that will impact EVERYBODY. ANYONE, and I MEAN ANYONE who would vote for a democrat in this political climate is a fool. Rockefeller...take another hit. You must be high if you think that the republicans are not going to win MANY seats and the White House. Daniel...that poll was only those who claim that they are democrats. It must be as I have seen polls that show that around 25% of registered democrats are not going to vote for Obama...that would also fit many reps and sens. There is NO WAY that this election goes to the left. The reps would not likely pick up a supermajority in either chamber, but they will hold a majority in both chambers and they will win the White House.

Daniel:  The last polls I saw yesterday were in favor of democrats by wide margins. 73% to 26%

imaxkr:  Is that like the administrations proposal to eliminate the mortgage deduction? or their proposal to eliminate the deductability of medical expenses? or the additional costs to the middle class from the PPACA? You are spreading lies and rhetoric. "good job supporting the tea party middle class independents your gonna get exactly what you deserve a tax increase" quite possible, but it will be nothing compared to the increased taxes and added costs the middle class will end up paying if the current administration is left unchecked. Truly sad that you can't see that through your rhetoric.

Pastafarian:  That's one thing I really do not understand about Tea Party types. The Republicans want to protect tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and they're all for it. Republicans want to reduce the standard deduction on your 1040 form from $7500 to $6500 and Teabaggers don't have a problem with that. These people are completely out of their minds.

Joe in texas:  There is no Republican plan to raise taxes. Eliminating Tax loop holes is a good idea but requires a reform of the country's tax system I agree with President Clinton that we should eliminate loop holes and lower our overall corporate tax rate.

John W:  The flat tax, everybody making under 50k pays no tax. All tax is collected from sales tax I think I also support High Tariffs on Chinese junk, Tariffs paid for our federal government for the first 100 years and I favor them on Communist goods

David_the_Great:  The answer is no. We want freedom from the government. We want to cut spending and pay down the debt. How do you define someone rich based on a yearly income of $250,000? DTG
